Who We Are
Indaloenhle Health Development (I-NED) is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for young women, girls, and youth (ages 15-35) to achieve their full potential. With a focus on holistic empowerment, we equip the next generation of leaders to lead healthier, more productive, and more fulfilling lives.

Mission
Our mission is to transform the lives of young women, girls, and youth through mentorship, health education, equality, and sustainability. We integrate these values into all our programs to enable young people to become confident, vibrant leaders who drive positive change in their communities.
Founder & CEO
Zukiswa is a professional nurse, passionate about community development, and the founder of I-NED. With an educational background from Ann Latsky Nursing College, University of Cape Town, and currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health at the University of Johannesburg, Zukiswa brings a wealth of expertise in public health to the organization. She has worked as a HAST nurse in Katlehong and has led quality improvement initiatives in healthcare as part of her work with the Aurum Institute’s USAID-funded TB program.
Our Philosophy
We believe that empowering young women, girls, and youth is the foundation of thriving communities. Healthy individuals lead to stronger families, which drive economic prosperity and societal change.
Our Approach
We offer programs that combine mentorship, health education, skills training, and community engagement, focusing on the areas of sexual and reproductive health, economic empowerment, leadership, and social well-being.
